Free Holidays in Skegness for the Disadvantages

Free HolidaysNEWS SNIPPET: There has been MASSIVE DEMAND for free places at a holiday centre for disadvantaged Derbyshire. The Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre in Skegness has had 500 applications for the 450 places it provides each year.

The centre provides holiday breaks for deserving children referred to it by social workers and schools. it’s Chairman Bill Tomlinson said last year’s eight per cent rise in referrals looks like it will be exceeded and as more people become unemployed, the number of families unable to afford a break rises.
