Well with April and the warmer weather the Skegness tourist attractions are setting up for a bumper good time… and there’s no shortage of variety in the area.
The comedy Big Ballet’s ‘The Size Does Matter Tour’ will take to the stage at the Embassy Theatre in Skegness and is set to wow its patrons. Described as a “comedy ballet of weighty elegance and adorable humour”, the show features a spectacular dance troupe who all weigh over 16 stone. Skegness next Wednesday, March 30 at 7.30pm.
Solid Silver 60’s Show.
This one will bring the musical memories flooding back for the 60’s generation. This popular show features Dave Berry, Chris Farlowe, Wayne Fontana, Terry Sylvester (formerly of The Hollies) and backed by Vanity Fare and Very Special Guests The Merseybeats.
The show is an annual regular to Skegness and is on at the Embassy Theatre on Sunday 24th April.
The Wizard of Oz
The musical version will roll into town Sunday 10th April as part of a UK tour. It stars Steph Fearon (a contestant in the BBC’s “Over the Rainbow”) and comedy legend Bobby Davro. You’ll remember the show features the Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion and the Tin Man! They’ll be a few Munchkins to to help Dorothy get to the Wizard of OZ in Skegness and of course the Wicked Witch of the West will try to stop her…. GREAT FAMILY FUN!
The show will be performed in the Embassy Theatre in Skegness on Sunday, April 10 at 2pm and 6pm, and again on Monday, April 11 at 2pm.
